Sixth sense...

I think, I have somehow developed an apparent ability to sense all the upcoming undesirable, unfortunate events in my life! In contrast to my positive intuitions my negative intuition never ever fail! :(

Maybe I am....a cynic!!

Needing someone is like needing a parachute. He will surely be there the first time you need him. But when you will fly to the greater heights assuming you have a parachute, you will never have one!

After reading this you might call me a cynic!!

I realized may be I am!

To be very honest there are times when I think selfishness motivates all the human actions and in most of the cases people hide this selfishness under the smart cover of being practical. In this logic driven world everything needs some logic or a strong base. The way we need reason to believe people, we need equally good reason to disbelieve them.There was a time when I was naive, immature and innocent, always trying to find something good even in worst of situation and in everyone around.

Away from the reality, living in beautiful myth....

I believed in people around. I confided in them.

But at the time of need they changed. At the times when they should stand besides me they showed back. They camouflaged like chameleons. They shattered the trust I had in them. They devastated the innocence within me. They made me skeptical over their intensions and motives.

The bad experiences I had probably broke the fascinating image of this world and showed me the grisly reality. They unmasked the real wicked face of the people around.

They made it difficult for me to believe.

So I admit I am cynic but am I the one to be blamed for this? :(

Reasons to watch...

Another review...I just cant stop when it comes to this movie can I ?? :P ...You gotta tolerate it guys coz its not gonna stop in the near future lol :P

Hmm so as most of you know by now...caught Jaane Tu on the third day. Reasons to watch:

1. It makes you happy! Very happy! It's cute, innocent and you can relate to one character or the other!

2. Imran is so cute and so natural.

3. All the actors are. The brother, the friends. It's like watching your video with friends.

4. The smooth camera work! Mumbai looks great!

5. Coz Pappu can't dance saala! :P

6. The pet names — Rotlu, Pappu, Boms, Rats, Jiggy, Meow! :D I'm good with pet names now. ;)

7. Arbaaz and Sohail! :D

8. The songs! As I always said Rehman is THE GOD of bollywood music :D

9. It's fresh. It's cute. I can watch it over this weekend again!

10.It is therapeutic. It makes you smile and grin like crazy! I should watch it once a week to keep me happy.:D

11. Ratna Pathak Shah and Naseeruddin Shah as Imran’s parents. I laughed with every Naseruddin Shah jig.

12. Ranjhaud ke rathore and the three conditions :P

Just watch it people. And if you're a couple, you'll enjoy it even more. I dragged my parents.And we loved it.

Jaane tu..ya jaane na

First things first, I would give the movie a rating of 4.5 / 5. I would say that there is nothing new to the story, just an old formula, retold, re crafted. But Aabbas Tyrewala's style of narration is superb. I would say that the movie is a tamed down version of Dil Chahta hai, no not a masterpiece as DCH, but yes you will identify wioth the crowd somewhere. Be it the crush amonst the friends, be it the indecisive nature of Aditi and Jai, be it the foolishness of Jignesh Patel, or a very closely knit relationships between friends.

The movie starts with a group of people waiting for somebody at the airport, and in them is a girl who actually is an air hostess, and she hated the idea of waiting at the airport for a delayed flight, she is pissed off, snapping everybody. And then the remaining four guys starts narrating a story, a unique Love story, Jai and Aditi's love story. The director with the help of these people explained every aspect of their relationship. Some aspects which were not very obvious, some which were underlying aspects in their relationship, is beautifully explained / highlighted with these friends! I loved the side story about the "ranjhaud ke rathore" and the cameo by Naseer.

What I liked about the movie was the fact that Jai (Imran) and Aditi (Genelia) are always with each other, the best friends ever existed on this earth, but still they are not in love, OK, at least they don't think about love. But they cant live without each other. The way Jai cares about Aditi, the way Aditi fights for Jai, everybody except them know that they are in love, but good thing is nobody in the group interferes this love / friendship relationship of theirs. They just leave it on time, or rather Jai and Aditi!

Okay just for a second forget the love aspect in the movie...even the fact that Jai and Aditi are in love but they dont know it.After removing that aspect its the kind of friendship we all can relate to in some way or the other isint it??? Atleast I for once can. I can even understand the jealousy part that arises when both the friends get involved with there respective bf/gf (even though in the movie it was attached to the love aspect)...Wont you feel jealous just as a best friend if your friend got too much involved with someone else even if thats not a bf/gf...to not at times even notice you??? I certainly will :-)

Acting wise Imran and Genelia have done a good job, yes he is the new Chocolate boy, and believe me he is good at it, I was just amazed to see the reaction of the girls in the movie theater :-)....including me :p I think Genelia needs to work on her Hindi accent, but somehow I found that cute, the cute Goan Hindi accent! AR Rahman's music is fresh and amazing!

Overall a must watch.

And yes Harman Baweja: Dont compare yourself with this dude, he is here to stay! :D
