Santa

This is a guest post for me from a friend of mine Isha.I did not know I was that transparent to everyone ...:)

Dearest santa,

You are known to have a big heart. So here goes Santa... if you can grant me one wish, just one, this one would be it.

My friend, she is a good woman. I feel her warm good energy running through my veins like chocolates.Santa, she means no harm and tries her best to make everyone happy but is very unhappy herself. I feel her tears in every smile. She tries to keep calm and collected and not disturb me but she doesn't realise that she can't hide from me. I am Her.

Santa, in these four to five months I have never seen so much pain. She cries all the time, by the window, by the chair, by the mirror, by the tree, everywhere... alone. And people around her think she is so strong. It's true. I've heard them talk about my friend... they say with pride... they say, "She is a rebel and one of the true woman." They look up to her in many ways and I am so proud of her. Yes I am.

So Santa, here is my wish.

Please take all the people she doesn;t want in her life in such a way that she is not responsible. Please bring all the people she craves to have in her life back in a way that they do not leave again. In a way that she does not have to push them away herself, for her sanity as well as there's.The truth is that I am not OK and I know i keep on giving her false hope to see the spark in her eyes.

She is patient, as patient as she can be, but I cannot bear to see her sitting around like a vegetable hoping everything will be OK. Please Santa. I think she is fantastic and I cannot put her through this.
Santa, give my Dida a million smiles instead.. !!

She is fed up of “whatever happens happens for good” happenings. I want something good to actually happen with her. I don’t want her to learn anymore from such happenings.

People who simply can’t stay along, almost invade into her life like twister.., stay for a while, causing things like curiosity, hope, sometimes dreams too, to whirl around her life in a perfect zoom and then suddenly they leave, only to make the place they stayed a junkyard.

Finally she hears “whatever happens happens for good!!! This is how you learn in life”. she has learned enough from all of them who did that. Can you believe, now she almost know how to quit from all kinds of problems that exist in the world, starting from whom she chose to whom her parents chose?

She is totally lost, and so is everyone around [including me]. You said god plays fair always; please ask him to consider this request of mine. I prefer not to play any game starting from now, until he assures me She will not be in the receiving end.

I can’t even make her sleep on my lap coz she will be worried that am lost. We both pretend that we are fine. If you’re free tonight please come in my dreams. I need your lap. For a minute at least, to find “the hopelessly lost myself and her”.

Why Bangalore is so cool ?

Not only coz of the weather (which is always awesome by the way), Bangalore is cool in a lot many more aspects too.And here are a few of them.

1. You can walk 5 kms to office.You can walk 5 kms back from office, and you dont feel tired at all !! Infact you actually enjoy the walk, so much so that you look forward to it. (Courtesy the awesome weather, so much to look around and no notorious guys to trouble you).

2. Sit on a roadside bench for hours and no guy would come to chat you up.Infact it is so common people hardly notice.And you are not the only girl around doing so.

3. Riding a bike (by bike i mean cycle and not motorbike) to office is considered more of a status symbol than riding a Honda City.

4. You would find the CEO or MD of a company going to the office on a bicycle and it wont surprise you.

5. Bangalore night life, restaurants, food rocks.The best part, the cost is oh so reasonable for the kind of food, ambience and experience they provide.And did I mention the night or day life and the safety factor attached together ?

6. Everyone around you is so health conscious that you automatically feel like being so too lol.

7. If you have got a parking ticket, the traffic police wont stand on your head and harass you for hours.They would just stick it on your car, even if you are not there and go away.Later on they keep a track of the payments made on their Blackberry's !!!

8. The ever efficient public bus transport system.Every bus is equipped with GPRS.You can actually track from your mobile just where is your bus right at this moment, and how much longer it would take to reach your stop.

Did you all know Bangalore bus transport system is the only public bus system in India which is going into profits ?

9. Did I mention about the awesome weather ? :D It rains everyday, but it also does not rain so much that you feel you might drown any day.Its not too much, its not too less, its just perfect :D

10. Everyone around you is running around so much from Monday to Friday, that it just feels so natural coming to the office at 8 am and going back around 8 pm. Want to live in the fast lane ? Welcome to Bangalore :)

P.S. 1 week more in Bangalore.If I come across any new experiences in that period, would update in the next post :D
