I am back from Delhi and awesome is the word for the trip.Along with exhausting, tiring, exciting etc. etc. etc. Since the day I reached Delhi (i.e. early morning of 4th april o8) it had been one hell of a roller coster ride.Getting out of the house at dot 10 a.m and entering the house again somewhere between 9 to 10 and stopping in the middle of all this just for a quick meal or something.
Now a quick meal does not mean that the meal wasnt lavish or something.Contrary to it I have not eaten so much at one time in the last few years which by the way made things even more difficult for I was hardly in a state to stand much less walk the roads of Carolbagh (hope the spelling is right) or Chandni Chowk with armloads of shopping bags!!!
Delhi was dirty, the streets were very dirty, the only thing I found clean was the Metro, which was very cool. But anyways I am used to dirty places living all my life in a place like where I am living :P.Although I DID expect something better in the country's capital. Not exactly complaining just an observation :P
Now it must be going through the mind of everyone whose reading this post as to what exactly was I doint in Delhi that was so hectic.Hmmm..... good question.I was shopping in grand style for bhai's engagement and wedding ..and when I say grand dont under rate it :D.
The best thing I liked about this trip of mine is that I did shopping in the real sense of the word.No mall wala shopping for me....and you know what the icing on the cake was....heavy downpour while I was shopping in those keechdi peechdi busy galiz of Chandi Chowk.Man was that fun lolzzzzz!!! I'll never forget that day.Trying to save Bhabhi's saris that we bought and getting soaked ourselves in the process.
Anyway, it was a good trip. I am hoping to get admission in Delhi after all the sightseeing(infact I have been hoping for this since a long long time even before this trip of mine) *wink*, but God has other plans for me. Let’s see what happens…………………
