First of all for those of you who dont know let me define Earth Hour
According to Wikipedia..."Earth Hour is an annual international event created by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), held on the last Saturday of March, that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change."
The timings are 8.30-9.30 pm local time on 28th of March.All you have to do is swich off all the electric appliances in your household for this period anywhere in the world.More than 85 countries around the world are participating in it.
Come on they are just asking for 1 hour....thats a very short time but in terms of saving energy it can do wonders.I am surely gonna participate in it..will you??
