With the motive of spending quality time with Mom before I have to finally leave for my college I have recently started accompanying Mom on her morning and evenings walks (though I hate to walk!!)
We go to this particular park here which is quite popular for these purposes. This park also happens to be the place where Chandrashekhar Azad shot himself instead of surrendering to the Britishers.Anyways coming back to the topic, day before yesterday me and Mom were out to this place for our walk. There was this adorable 3-4 years old girl there with her Dad.Eyes than dance with laughter, mischief written across every feature.
Now this girl found a young couple in the park, getting cozy (its not an unusual site for the park so even though we noticed too we initally didnt pay any attention). They were just sitting side by side with the guy’s arm around the girl’s shoulder, whispering sweet nothings to each other…
Father of the kid tried to distract her and drag her off, but our 4 year old pataka(apt for her :P) held her ground and confronted them.
What are you doing?
They just smiled.
What ARE you doing? She persisted.
They of course looked at the father to intervene.
He was most embarassed, mumbled an apology and tried to drag her off one more time.
Even when she was being hauled off, she told them in no uncertain terms “Don’t do these things in the park. My parents ”do” this inside the house!!! Don’t sit like this here”
!!!
Sit with their arms around each other that is.
Me and Mom laughed for a bit.
And then I also felt a little sad.
